Brisbane’s spookiest weekend is nearly here, and if you’re looking to get into the Halloween spirit, we’ve got all the frightfully fun happenings going down at Trick or Treat Little Stanley Street this Friday and Saturday. From candy-filled trails to spooky movies, here’s everything you need to know!
Trick or Treat Trail Dust off your creepiest costume and hit the Trick or Treat trail, where you’ll collect candy at every stop. Keep an eye out for spooky characters—rumour has it they’ll be dishing out clues to help you hunt down even more treats. Ghoulish Games Sugar high kicking in? Let the little ones burn off some energy with Ghoulish Games. Think Giant Jenga, Connect 4, and Ring Toss—classic fun with a Halloween twist.
Kids Craft Workshops Get crafty and create your very own haunted house to take home, or go wild with some Halloween-themed colouring. It’s hands-on fun that’ll keep the kids entertained (and your fridge covered in spooky artwork).
Face Painting No Halloween look is complete without a little face paint! Whether you’re going full ghoul or just want a spooky touch-up, our face painting will have you Halloween-ready in no time.
Spooky Cinema Settle in for some outdoor movie magic! Friday kicks off with Scooby Doo at 5:30pm, followed by a nostalgic screening of The Addams Family at 7:30pm. Saturday’s line-up includes Casper at 5:30pm and Monster Family at 7:30pm. And yes, the Alemre Group has the snack bar covered with all the treats you need.
Ghost Train Hop aboard the Ghost Train! Departing every 15 minutes from 5pm, this spooky ride is perfect for kids and runs from the northern end of Little Stanley Street. Tickets are just $8, and it’s a guaranteed scare-tastic adventure.
Collective Markets Shopping, but make it spooky. Head to the Halloween edition of the Collective Markets in Stanley Street Plaza, where you’ll find all your fave stalls and plenty of unique goodies to browse.

PARKING When you’ve got family and friends to cart around or you’re travelling from far away, it’s hard to beat the convenience of driving. The car park is located at Little Stanley St, South Bank. Entry is via Tribune or Glenelg streets. For more information click here.
CITYCAT AND FERRY Take a ride on a CityCat down the Brisbane River and you’ll enjoy some of the city’s best views. CityCats operate every day and stop at the South Bank River Terminal on the Clem Jones Promenade. If you're looking to save some cash, make sure you take advantage of the free City Hopper, which visits South Bank daily.
BUS South Bank is connected to Brisbane’s Busway with buses departing regularly from South Bank and Cultural Centre Stations. South Bank Busway Station provides closest access to the Parklands and Little Stanley Street. To plan your journey on bus from your location, visit here.
