On Tuesday 12 August, the South Bank favourite is hosting an exclusive night of Spanish elegance, pairing six incredible courses with wines from Familia Torres, one of Spain’s most iconic winemaking dynasties. Rooted in Catalonia’s Penedès region since 1870, Familia Torres has spent over 150 years crafting wines that honour the land, culture and family legacy. Now led by its fifth generation, the estate is known globally for expressive, sustainable wines that showcase the richness of Spanish terroir.
To make the night even more special, a member of the Familia Torres estate is flying in from Spain to guide guests through each pour and share the stories behind the wines.
You’ll start with mixed olives, pan con tomate and a glass of Sangre de Toro Blanco, a zesty white with notes of pear and quince, perfectly paired with saffron manchego croquettes. From there, dive into prawns with chimichurri butter and bright Albariño, Catalan salad with silky Tempranillo, and braised black rooster with butter bean stew alongside the structured Salmos 2017.
To finish, expect a golden peach tarte tatin paired with Jaime I, a smooth Spanish brandy with layers of vanilla, dried plum and warm spice.
