Truffle lovers rejoice! A specialised Truffle Dinner is coming to Popolo in June for one night only. This is a luxe dining experience you don’t want to miss!
On Thursday 29th of June, Popolo in collaboration with Debs Oliver (AKA Lady Truffle) will be hosting an exquisite evening filled with delicious food prepared by Chef Francesco, and of course anointed with Debs truffles. Guests will be treated to an indulgent 5-course Italian-style menu to share, with an incredible matched wine menu. This dining experience is the ultimate way to treat yourself.
The evening begins at 6:30pm with a glass of bubbles, followed by the first stop on diner’s truffle journey, the truffle arancini and truffle mayonnaise, paired with a glass of orange wine direct from Italy. Guests will then be treated to a carpaccio di bresaola, rocket, shaved grana padano and fresh truffle, served alongside a glass of white wine. The third course is a classic Italian pasta dish, the strozzapreti cacio e pepe, with the added flavour profile of truffle, and a glass of Italian red. The last savoury course moves to heartier offerings, with a succulent wagyu rump tagliata, creamy truffle potato, and charred bocconcini with a perfectly paired vintage Italian red. Finally, the dinner concludes on a sweet note with hazelnut gelato and shaved truffle, with a classic Italian sweet white wine to accompany.
