This Father’s Day (Sunday 7 September), it’s time to pry Dad away from the home BBQ and treat him to a smoky, beer-fueled feast at The Charming Squire. They are firing up the smoker, turning up the tunes and rolling out an exclusive smokehouse menu that will have Dad grinning from ear to ear.
On the menu you will find slow-cooked beef brisket loaded into pillowy bread rolls with crunchy coleslaw, tangy pickles and sticky JD whiskey BBQ sauce. There is also chermoula spiced lamb tacos with fresh mint yoghurt and zesty tomato salsa, smoked hot dogs with chorizo and caramelised onion, and if you really want to impress, an epic Smoker Platter. Expect brisket, lamb, coffee crusted beef ribs, pickles, coleslaw and BBQ whiskey sauce, all paired with a beer tasting paddle.
Of course, it would not be a proper Father’s Day celebration without a frosty pint or two. With their on-site micro-brewery pumping out some of Brisbane’s best craft beers from crisp lagers to hop-heavy pale ales, The Charming Squire has Dad’s drink order covered.
There will also be live music all afternoon to keep the vibes high, so all you need to do is lock in your table and get ready for a day of flavour-packed feasting and icy brews.
