Harajuku Gyoza is bringing the iconic rice and egg dish to Brisbane for an extra six weeks with a special guest chef residency from Osaka Omurice, starting July 27 at South Bank. This unique culinary experience is one you won’t want to miss.
Chef Tadamichi of Osaka Omurice began his journey in the culinary world at the young age of 14, helping out at his parents’ bustling market stall in Osaka. Now, he’s set to bring his legendary skills to Brisbane, offering a dining experience that’s both entertaining and delicious. Chef Tadamichi will prepare the popular dish right at your table, allowing you to witness the artistry behind each creation before diving in.
Choose from three mouth-watering variations: the classic demi-glace, tangy ketchup, and his signature Osaka Okonomiyaki-style, topped with okonomi sauce (a sweeter version of Worcestershire), mayonnaise, and katsuobushi flakes (a type of fish flake). Each dish is priced at $28, promising a delightful and satisfying meal.
You can catch Osaka Omurice’s culinary magic at Harajuku Gyoza South Bank from July 27. The residency will be available on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4 pm to 8 pm, and Friday to Sunday from 11:30 am - 3 pm, and 5 pm - 8 pm for six weeks only.
