Calling all car enthusiasts!
The Queensland Porsche Club is rolling out the red carpet and cruising onto Little Stanley Street this weekend for a street party like no other...
That’s right! This Saturday the 13th of August, prepare for a sprawling display of pristine Porsches, engaging discussions with race car superstar Bayley Hall, and hours’ worth of free sports car appreciation, right in the heart of South Bank. An event built with fellow car enthusiasts in mind, Concour D’Elegance 2022 is a day not to be missed!
Celebrating seventy years since the establishment of the first official Porsche club – a special milestone for Porsche clubs worldwide - Concour D’Elegance 2022 will showcase a multitude of different Porsche models with everything from the very early 356 (the original Porsche brought into Australia) right through to the Carrera GT, current electric vehicles and GT3 race car. A grand display of vehicles, some with a great history and others used daily by their owners as a primary form of transport, you can catch all the action from 10am this Saturday.
For those looking to take their Porsche experience to the next level, Bayley Hall - professional Porsche driver for McElrea Racing and competitor in the upcoming Australian Carrera Cup Championship - will also be there to chat about his rise into, and absolute passion for, Porsche racing and the new cars.
The perfect event for our any sports car lover, join us in South Bank this Saturday for a day of beautiful cars and even better food.
Psstt... Make a day of it by booking a table at one of South Bank’s nearby eateries! Tuck into a traditional Sunday roast at Hop and Pickle, feast on saucy chicken wings at Tippler’s Tap or graze on woodfired pizza and pasta at VICI... the options are endless!
