TRAVELLING IN: Plan your journey to make your trip to South Bank as seamless as possible. If you’re taking public transport, luckily for us, South Bank is surrounded by a myriad of transport options, which means you should have no trouble finding the right bus/ferry/train for you. Remember, preparation is key, so jump onto the TransLink website and ensure you plan your journey before you get to the platform here!
IF YOU'RE DRIVING: Have you been given the all-important task of designated driver? For ease of access, create an account with Multiscan Hub and register your details and payment method online here! THE FIREWORKS: There is nothing better than starting the year off with a sparkling display of fireworks (we think it's key for a brighter year ahead.)! Grab a good vantage spot along the river and take in the spectacular fireworks display as we kiss goodbye to 2023 and welcome 2024 with a bang! This year, there will be two fantastic firework displays: one at 7:45 pm for young ones and another at midnight for late-night revellers.
NO TICKETS? NO WORRIES! Didn’t get around to purchasing those coveted NYE event tickets? Luckily, walk-ins are welcome at some of South Bank’s best bars, so if you find yourself ticket-less this New Year’s Eve, our tip is to try one of the following: El Camino Cantina, Barbossa Bar & Bottle Shop, or Tippler’s Tap.

Items such as alcohol (the Parklands is entirely alcohol-free on the night, unless you’re in a designated restaurant or bar area); drink bottles with broken seals (including bottles of water or soft drink); scooters, bikes, skateboards, pets, glass and metal cutlery, marquees, and any large, portable structures.
