From eerie family activities to mystical tarot nights and cheeky character painting, Cork & Chroma is the place to get hands-on, get creative and soak up all the October vibes. Whether you’re after a kids-friendly spooky sesh or a playful night out with friends, there’s something for everyone to get into the Halloween spirit.
Art Café | Every Friday and Saturday
Brisbane, get ready to get crafty. C&C Art Café has popped up at Cork & Chroma South Bank this October, bringing a whole new kind of night out. Pick your art project from the menu and the team will deliver everything you need straight to your table. Choose from acrylics, watercolours, collage, beaded keepsakes or even nostalgic figurine painting, with rotating craft specials to keep things fresh. You’ll get two hours of self-guided creative freedom, complete with T2 tea, aromatherapy vibes and an Artist Hand Station for a quick refresh. BYO drinks to make it your own kind of night. Step into the playful world of Labubu, the cheeky little creature with big eyes and even bigger personality. With guidance from the studio’s artists, you’ll learn how to layer colour and capture that signature mischief. Cork & Chroma will be keeping little ghouls and goblins busy with free spooky colouring-in fun across both nights of Trick or Treat Little Stanley Street on 31 October and 1 November. Swing by, grab some crayons and let their imaginations run wild. There’ll also be spooky canvas creations available for $15 per person with no bookings required.
