If your idea of winter vibes is less ugly sweaters and more lavish feasts, Ahmet’s has you sorted. This July, they are rolling out the royal carpet with their Sultan’s Feast, an epic banquet fit for a king or, at the very least, your foodie crew.
Running from 1 to 31 July, this Turkish-style celebration is all about gathering your mates and feasting like sultans for $78 per person (minimum four people). The best part? They are even throwing in a complimentary bottle of Jansz Premium Cuvée to toast the occasion. Iconic behaviour.
Expect your table to be piled high with freshly baked Turkish bread and house-made dips, golden sigara börek, and flash-fried calamari topped with garlic love. Next comes their legendary kings pide, loaded with Turkish chorizo, chicken, mushroom, onion and melty mozzarella. And that is just the warm-up.
For mains, you will tuck into juicy lamb Iskender, stacked on diced Turkish bread with Ahmet’s signature tomato sauce and garlic yoghurt, alongside their famous mixed grill of char-grilled chicken, beef and Adana skewers. Add in a fresh Mediterranean salad, fluffy Turkish-style rice, and it is safe to say no one will be leaving hungry.
Of course, no feast is complete without something sweet. You will finish things off with traditional baklava, made Gazi Antep-style and drizzled with lemon sugar syrup.
Basically, this is the winter feast your July calendar was missing. Round up your crew and lock it in. This is one Christmas in July you will want to make a tradition. Lock it in here.
