South Bank is set to host an epic outdoor concert this weekend (Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th of March, to be exact) and you best believe we’ll be taking any opportunity to get the fam out of the house for free musical hits, sprawling river views, and tasty picnic bites…
That’s right! Giving you the opportunity to sing, dance and sway your weekend away to some of musical theatres’ greatest hits, Riverside Melodies is a free family-friendly event that is guaranteed to have the whole gang dancing. Kicking off at 10am on both days, this is your chance to belt out the classics!
To ensure you and your crew remain well fed (and well-watered!), there will be two pop-up food stalls on site – hosted by VICI and Olé – serving up all your favourite picnic eats and drinks. Settle into the afternoon with goat cheese stuffed green olives, cheesy truffle arancini and an Aperol Spritz from VICI or venture to Spain with a serve of Olé’s mushroom and Manchego croquetas, patatas bravas and sangria! With a couple of kid-friendly bites also in the mix, this is guaranteed to be a picnic unlike any other…
