South Bank just scored a brand-new restaurant, Embers, and we couldn’t be more excited to give you all the deets about this new addition, fuelled by fire and suave simplicity.
Conveniently located within The Charming Squire, Embers will operate as a stand-alone restaurant specialising in all things wood-roasted, smoked and grilled. Did someone say next date night location?
With its elevated and chic vibe, Embers promises to deliver a menu inspired from the ocean to the paddock; with the dishes unified by the custom-made wood-fired grill and rotisserie. Their signature dish? Wood-roasted lamb with a crisp salad of cucumber, mint, local greens, labneh, sumac and jus. Drool.
If that’s not enough, their menu also features a 24-hour slow roasted Australian premium grain fed rib fillet, pan-fried South Australian kingfish, and Tamborine cheese stracciatella. There’s a real connection to local suppliers, and the produce certainly shines through with their delectable dishes.
What’s a feast without a beverage to match? The fire and smoke theme runs through to their cocktail menu as well, showcased in the Embers Manhattan and Smoky Old Fashioned, to name a few. Or, if you’re more of a wine lover you can choose from over 100 wines on the list or house-made beer on tap.
What are you waiting for? Whether it’s your next date night, dinner with the crew or function, a flawless experience awaits at Embers.
