A Night at the Museum

Queensland Museum’s A Night at the Museum is back—and this time, it’s taking you deep into the world of pharaohs, pyramids and ancient rituals.

Get exclusive after-hours access to Discovering Ancient Egypt, a stunning exhibition featuring over 250 artefacts and immersive projection-mapped animations telling the story of the Temple of Taffeh.

The museum comes alive with a rotating program of family-friendly activities, including drop-in Egyptian drumming with Adel Amin, an archaeological dig pit to celebrate National Archaeology Week, and Eye Spy tours through the exhibit with real-life Egyptologist Serena Love. You can even fold your own origami pyramidion and chat with science experts in the Discovery Centre.

Still curious? Budding scientists can explore SparkLab, the interactive science and design space, while dinosaur lovers can roam through Dinosaurs Unearthed: Explore Prehistoric Queensland.

Whether you’re bringing the kids or flying solo, this is your chance to experience the museum like never before. Find out more and book here.
