South Bank Christmas Lights: 1st -27th December
Start the festive season on 1 December as we ignite the magic of Christmas with the lighting up of South Bank. Visitors will witness the dazzling display of lights, decorations, and festive cheer that will fill the parklands until 27 December.
Collective Markets Christmas Edition: 15th - 23rd December
The Collective Markets on Little Stanley Street will be getting a jolly makeover this Christmas with stallholders offering an assortment of gifting delights. It’s the perfect opportunity to grab those last-minute stocking stuffers, you can find out more here!
South Bank Christmas Show: 18th- 23rd December
This year, treat the kids to a night out at the South Bank Christmas Show! Enjoy an all-singing, all-dancing, all-ages spectacle that gives audiences a glimpse into the chaos that hits Santa’s Workshop the night before Christmas. This joyous festive favourite will be playing two shows nightly at 5pm and 6:30pm, you’ll want to grab your tickets ASAP before they sell out. Find out more here!
Christmas Cinema: 18th – 23rd December
The beloved Christmas Cinema will be taking up its pride of place at River Quay with free screenings of various festive flicks at 6pm and 8pm each evening. Pack a picnic or let the nearby River Quay restaurants do the hard work for you by pre-ordering a delicious hamper from The Jetty, and River Quay Fish. Festive Beats Presented by Eat South Bank: 18th – 23rd December
Wind down into the Christmas season at South Bank Parklands and round up your loved ones for an evening of live performances at Festive Beats. You’ll find the Christmas tunes by Brisbane’s best local musicians taking place on Little Stanley Street Lawns from 4:30pm to 9:30pm daily.
Santa’s Stop Over: 18th – 23rd December
Grab a pic with the man of the moment at Santa’s Stopover, a free photo station at South Bank’s Flowstate! Stopping for photos with fans of all ages from 4pm to 9:30pm nightly, simply select your favourite phone filter, hand your camera to one of Santa’s little helpers, and enjoy a festive photoshoot to remember. Plus, for those who have been naughty, you don’t want to miss a visit from everyone’s fave green man!
Holly Jolly Kids: 18th – 23rd December
Little Stanley Street Lawn will be turned into a festive kids-centric zone this December from 4pm to 9:30pm. We’re talking free Christmas themed colouring, a spectacular wishing tree installation, and a chance to boogie to your fave Christmas carols at the elf dance party! Find out more here!
