The Great Australasian Beer Spectacular (GABS) – arguably one of the best beer festivals in the world (sorry Oktoberfest!) – is returning to South Bank on Saturday 10th of June and never have we been more excited to sip on a couple of cold ones with our closest mates.
Transforming the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre into a buzzing hub for all thing’s beers and brewing, this one-day festival will be bringing 120 new and unique craft beers to South Bank from more than 60 local and international brewers. Kicking off the action at 11am with their first five-and-a-half-hour session, tickets are available for $49.50 per person and include entry to this epic event, access to first-release craft beers, exclusive meet and greets, epic giveaways, free games, a silent disco, street food stalls and more!
Because no good Saturday session is complete without free entertainment (no we’re not talking about your mates drunk alter ego!), GABS will be turning up the fun with hilarious, interactive battles like the Balter Tins of Glory challenge, Mountain Goat Air Guitar challenge, and Atomic Wheel of Pourtune. With roving bands, stage shows, and eating competitions also thrown into the mix, it’s guaranteed to be a truly memorable event.
Not into craft beer? No stress! You’ll also be able to get your hands on delicious wines from the Yellow Tail Wine Bar, Archie Rose cocktails, Monkey Shoulder whiskeys, seltzers, ciders and plenty of other non-alcoholic beverages!
