Get Excited, El Camino Cantina Is Coming to South Bank

Rejoice, fellow margarita lovers! The iconic El Camino Cantina will be calling South Bank home in November, so cue the sombreros and pre-Christmas festivities.

Located in the stunning heritage listed Allgas Building in Stanley Street Plaza, this Mexican icon will boast two levels of colourful neon-lit ambience, delectable margaritas and Tex-Mex fare to your hearts content; we mean come on, does it get much better than this during the festive season?

On their menu, you can look forward to delicious concoctions like cheeseburger tacos, lime and pepper steak fajitas and baskets of churros, to name a few. We’re not drooling, you are.

The real winner? Their margaritas! And to celebrate them in all their delicious glory, they’ll be hosting a six week-long margarita festival upon opening, featuring an epic selection of margaritas to try in-house. We’re talking Mojitorita, Hubbabubba and Nerd flavoured margaritas, people!

Watch this space, we’ll be announcing their opening date sooner than you can say salud!
